Every entrepreneur has a goal to build a successful company that, when given the opportunity, flourishes regardless of who is at the helm. I am proud to say as the co-founder of connectRN that we have reached this point as a company. Today, I am excited to announce that Matthew Levesque is the new CEO of connectRN. I will now serve as Chief Growth Officer and lead the company’s expansion of its clinician and facility membership base.
When Idriz Limaj, Agron Ademi and I founded connectRN, we were a team of five. We worked around the clock with a common vision and goal to fix the broken agency model and make the nurse staffing process easier for clinicians and facilities. Today, we are a leading platform for all shift-based healthcare labor and help alleviate some of the strain caused by the industry nursing shortage.
Based on the company’s growth trajectory, it was time to supplement my founder skills with those of someone who has experience scaling and managing a larger organization. An entrepreneur’s vision realized. Matt has two decades of healthcare IT and two-sided market experience. He was a senior operating executive at athenahealth and was responsible for running the technology-enabled solutions that support athenahealth’s cloud-based suite of products. Prior to athenahealth, he held management roles at priceline.com. I have no doubt that he will continue to lead connectRN forward, expanding its market reach and continuing to improve the clinician experience.
Matt and I are excited about this next phase for connectRN and I hope you will please join me in welcoming him to the connectRN team.
