National Nurses Week Offers

  • Dunkin Donuts
    • On Wednesday May 6th, Dunkin is offering a free medium iced or hot coffee and a donut to nurses and healthcare workers at participating locations.
  • GlowForge 
    • GlowForge is offering free ear savers to help make masks more comfortable to wear throughout a long shift. Fill out the form to request your ear savers here.
  • Chipotle
    • Starting on May 6th at 12 pm EST, healthcare workers can sign up to get a free burrito. Sign up here.
  • Cinnabon and Daisy Foundation
    • Cinnabon is partnering with the Daisy Foundation to offer free Cinnabons to nurses during National Nurses Week. Find a location near you here.
  • Mrs. Fields
    • Use the code THANKS for 25% off the Medical Heroes Collection of cookies.
  • The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
    • On May 6th, any healthcare worker can get a free brewed coffee or tea, or opt for a $1 specialty drink.

Transportation and Services

  • Uber
    • Uber is offering free rides for healthcare workers to and from healthcare facilities. 
  • AAA
    • In select states, AAA is offering roadside assistance services to medical professionals at no cost. This includes help with vehicle breakdowns, battery problems, or flat tires. For more information, call 1-800-400-4222 or contact your local AAA club.
  • Tide
    • Tide is offering free laundry care to families of healthcare workers in select states. Find more information here.
  • BP
    • BP is offering healthcare workers a 50 cents off per gallon single-use discount code. Verify your healthcare status with ID.me to obtain your code.
  • Cub Cadet and TaskEasy
    • Cub Cade and TaskEasy have paired up to donate free lawn care services to frontline workers, including nurses and other healthcare professionals. Learn more about the offer here.
  • H&R Block 
    • Frontline workers, including healthcare professionals, can file both federal and state tax returns for free using H&R Block’s Tax Go Pro throughout the month of May.

Child and Dependent care

  • Care.com
    • Care.com is offering a free month of premium access to its site for workers on the frontlines. This includes access to help for children, parents, and pets. Get started here.
  • Pennsylvania Department of Human Services
    • Pennsylvania’s DPH has provided a list of local child care providers for parents who are essential workers. The list of available providers is regularly updated.
  • SitterCity
    • SitterCity connects families with trusted child care. They are offering three free months of premium membership to essential personnel on the frontlines due to the COVID-19 crisis, including nurses and healthcare workers. Sign up here.

Mental Health & Emotional Support

  • Talkspce Online Counseling 
    • Talkspace Online Counseling is offering medical professionals a free month of Talkspace’s Unlimited Messaging Plus plan. The plan includes online therapy via text, audio, and video calls with a licensed therapist.
  • Neorcore Brain Performance
    • Through May 1st, Neorcore Brain Performance is offering free telehealth counseling to all medical professionals and first responders in the U.S.
  • Nurses.org Support Groups
    • Nurses.org is offering confidential support groups for nurses on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic at no cost. Groups meet for an hour and serve as a place for nurses to connect with each other, share their experiences, blow off steam, process difficult emotions, and learn mindfulness and emotional skills to apply to work and personal lives. 
  • Headspace
    • Headspace is offering a free membership to their app to anyone working in a public health setting. Visit the website here to sign up.
  • Insight Timer
    • Listen to this mindfulness exercise dedicated to times of extreme stress to help cope with the heightened pressure of working on the frontline of COVID-19.
  • Thrive Global

    • ThriveTalk is offering free online therapy for essential workers on the frontlines of COVID-19, including healthcare professionals. Sign up here.

Grocery Shopping

  • BJ’s Wholesale Club
    • BJ’s is introducing a dedicated shopping hour for healthcare workers every Sunday from 8 am-9 am — no membership required. BJ’s is also offering medical professionals a free 4-month membership.
  • Publix
    • Publix has designated Thursday evenings from 8 pm-9 pm and Friday mornings from 7 am-8 am as shopping hours for medical professionals. The pharmacy will also be open during these hours.
  • Sam’s Club 
    • Sam’s Club is implementing “Hero Hours” for healthcare workers every Sunday from 8 am to 10 am — no membership required. Sam’s Club will also provide masks to wear in-store.

Lodging

  • Marriott
    • Marriott is donating $10 million in hotel stays for healthcare professionals. Their efforts are focused primarily on the COVID hotspots, including New York, New Jersey, New Orleans, Detroit, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Washington.
  • Hilton
    • Hilton and American Express are donating 1 million hotel rooms for doctors, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians and other medical professionals responding to the coronavirus pandemic. The rooms will be available through the end of May. 
  • AirBnb
    • AirBnb launched a new program called Frontline Stays in an effort to offer 100,000 places to stay for people responding to the pandemic. Learn more about discounted stays for traveling responders here.
  • Hotels for Hope
    • The American Hotel & Lodging Association has partnered with over 6,500 properties to help healthcare workers and first responders with temporary lodging. If you need to be connected with a room, fill out this form. The process takes about 2-3 days. 
  • Better Vacations 
    • Through May 15th, Better Vacations is offering medical workers free stays in Las Vegas and Indianapolis vacation homes, and up to 50% discounts in other U.S. cities. In order to qualify, you must be a current hospital employee with a valid Hospital ID.
  • Choice Hotels 
    • Choice Hotels is offering relocated healthcare workers and volunteers special rates on their hotel rooms. Discounts vary by location.

  • Crocs
    • Crocs are donating a free pair of shoes to healthcare workers on the frontline of COVID-19. Learn more here.
  • Barco Uniforms 
    • This medical apparel company will be donating scrubs to medical professionals working on the frontlines throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Request your scrubs here.
  • Asics
    • Asics is offering medical professionals 60% off all full-priced products in their online store.
  • Adidas
    • Adidas is offering nurses, medical professionals, first responders, and military a 40% discount.
  • Danform Shoes

  • Starbucks 
    • Starbucks nationwide is offering anyone who identifies as a front line worker during the COVID-19 pandemic a free tall brewed or iced coffee through May 3rd.
  • Krispy Kreme 
    • Healthcare workers who show their badge can receive a dozen original glazed donuts for free from Krispy Kreme drive-throughs. This offer appears to be unlimited — healthcare workers are encouraged to pick up a few dozen donuts for their co-workers on their way to work.
  • Sweetgreen 
    • On March 16th, Sweetgreen announced they would be setting up Outposts for delivery at hospitals in the cities it is located in. Healthcare workers are able to order bowls and drinks for free and pick them up, right at the hospital where they are working.
  • Cumberland Farms 
    • Healthcare workers, first responders, and military personnel can pick up a free coffee at Cumberland Farms any day of the week throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Nando’s PERi-Peri
    • Nurses, doctors and other healthcare workers can pick up free takeout when they stop into a Nando’s with a hospital ID.
  • Steak ‘n Shake
    • Steak ‘n Shake is giving away a free order of fries to all customers, no purchase necessary.
  • Tropical Smoothie Cafe
    • Looking for a mid-shift pick me up for your team? Medical professionals and first responders can reach out to their Local Tropical Smoothie Cafe to have free smoothies delivered for the team.
  • Pollo Campero
    • Medical professionals and first responders will receive a totally free meal through the month of April when they show up in uniform or show their badge/ID.
  • &pizza
    • Hospital workers, doctors, nurses, administrators, and cleaning staff can receive a free pizza from &pizza when they show a valid hospital ID. Text 200-03 #HERO for free delivery.
  • IHOP
    • Frontline workers can receive 20% off their entire order. Mention the discount when you call-in your order and show your ID when you pick it up.
