connectRN launches #ConnectCares initiative for National Nurses Week, May 6-11, 2021, in appreciation for the connectRN community of nurses and aides.
National Nurses Week is celebrated annually to honor the nation's indispensable registered nurses for their tireless commitment, 365 days a year. The week concludes each year on May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday. The nursing profession has been supported and promoted by the American Nurses Association (ANA) since 1896. In 2020, the American Nurses Association expanded the celebration throughout May to elevate and celebrate nursing.
At connectRN, expressing appreciation for our nurses is a daily practice because every day, our nurses are putting others’ health above their own. As the largest and most trusted professional workforce in the country, nurses are the heart of our healthcare system, and they are at the center of everything we do.
“Nurses everywhere make the world a better place, and connectRN is here to make their worlds better through our holistic support and advocacy,” says Kalyn Weber, Head of Clinician Experience at connectRN. “We hope our community of nurses and aides feel our support and appreciation throughout the year, and especially during this special week of programming for National Nurses Week.”
In celebration of National Nurses Week, we’re excited to share a full week of programming to show support and appreciation to our nursing community.

And to our connectRN clinicians, who work so hard every day to take care of others, we hope you know just how much we appreciate your dedication today and throughout the year.
